What to expect when you visit us!

We understand that life is busy and sometimes complicated. Church shouldn’t be.
Church ought to be an enjoyable experience, a place that’s easy to get to and a place where we can all pause to experience God, enjoy each other and celebrate life. If you’ve never been to church, or it’s been a while, we hope that we’ve been able to answer some of your questions. We encourage you to join us for church so that you can find a place where you can see how much God really has in store for you.

Visiting a new place for the first time can bring with it a variety of questions.
Will I be comfortable? Will people talk to me? What should I wear? What should I expect once I’m there? What’s available for my kids? We hope we can help answer some of your questions...

IFC is committed to serving!

We understand that it can be intimidating to walk into a building that you’ve never been to before. When you arrive we guarantee that the first face you’ll see will have a smile on it. Whether you’re looking for childcare or a latte, you’ll find a greeter nearby to help you get to where you need to go.

IFC is committed to loving Kids!

IFC Loves KIDS! We know that whether you have infants or older children you need a safe place for them to learn. We also know that your kids want to have lots of fun. You’ll find that our nurseries and children’s classrooms are a safe and fun place for them to learn. We really do want to be a support and an encouragement to your family!

IFC is committed to Experiencing God!

When you arrive at our Service, we usually have a time of worshipping God through songs and music. We love to lift our hands up, shout praises, and dance in worship of God. We have a time when several people share testimony of how the Word of God has been a help to them recently. We have a time when we give our offering of money to God as a thanksgiving and praise for the blessings we have received. We spend time praying for one another for the needs and take time to look into God’s word for our present situation.

Why an International Multi-Cultural Church?
1)

A International, multi-ethnic Church is a testimony to the city and to the world of the reconciling power of the Holy Spirit.

2)

A International, multi-ethnic Church helps newly arrived people from another ethnic background to more comfortably bridge the gap for further involvement in Intn’l Family Church while in a familiar language and environment

3)

A International, multi-ethnic Church gives an opportunity to all Christians to understand and be united with groups who have a different cultural from their own.

“no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow Citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household..”  Ephesians 2:19

History of Intn’l Family Church

International Family Church, also known as, Satish Raiborde Ministries International, also known as Teen Action International, a trans-denominational,Christ-centered church-planting ministry was established in 1967. The ministry in the USA was birthed in 1973 in Miami, Florida and later moved to the Carolinas in 1981. After a definite leading of the Holy Spirit, as with other churches, International Family Church began as a Home Group and later was registered in November 1992. The Holy Spirit began to draw people together from different nationalities have covenanted to fulfill the purpose of Christ. As hurting families and individuals were ministered to, God confirmed the Word with signs, wonders, and miracles. As giftings were recognized and promoted, teams were sent out to minister in over 30 states in crusades, seminars, gospel concerts, radio, TV, school campuses. As a result, several were brought into the ministry, giving birth to cell churches in different cities and states.

Cell Churches here have pioneered new churches in third world countries. Mission teams regularly went to pioneer works nationally and internationally to provide mentoring to several ministries and ministers of new churches. Everyone is a minister and has the seven-fold calling. Also through the courses of International Bible Academy, seminars, publications of books, and tapes many have been equipped for the ministry around the world.

Vision Values
1)

Value God’s Word. We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word, the authoritative and trustworthy rule of faith and practice for all Christians

2)

Value God’s Manifested Presence. To enjoy God’s felt-realized presence is our passion as a church. We believe there is a presence of God available to God’s people as they follow the pattern of worship as seen in Psalms

3)

Value the work of the Holy Spirit. Both in our personal and corporate life as believers, we welcome the moving of the Holy Spirit. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are part of our basis belief system.

4)

Value Dynamic Spontaneous Worship. The believer’s response to God’s presence may be seen in the energetic worship with clapping, lifting hands and singing spontaneous unrehearsed songs unto the Lord.

5)

Value the spirit of Unity. Not conformity but unity of the spirit and principle. Unity may express itself in a variety of ways but still maintain the same principles and convictions so as to flow together in accomplishing vision.

6)

Value the Holiness of God. Holiness is not legalism that is measured by outward look, but a true cleansing of the believer by the power of the Holy Spirit that is evidenced in Christian character and conduct.

7)

Value Fervent Prayer. The voice of prayer is head as we pray out loud together in our services. This principle of prayer is believed to be the motor or powerhouse to our church life. Individual praying and fasting for the whole church is a continual emphasis.

8)

Value the spirit of Excellence. We believe God deserves the best we have to offer; therefore we seek to maintain a high quality of excellence in everything connected to the work of God.

9)

Value Relationships. To love on another is our goal and we endeavor to make this practical through cell groups, where every believer is encouraged to develop deeper relationships with other believers that result in encouragement and accountability.

10)

Value Family. We express this commitment in our strong emphasis on family in preaching, teaching, counseling, and school for children.
